"As imagens foram manipuladas digitalmente a partir de fotos de revistas
de sexo explícito, homossexuais e heterossexuais. É possível
identificarmos um referente, entretanto não sabemos ao certo qual.
Sendo assim, o objeto localiza-se no meio de um trajeto que vai da figuração
à abstração. Resta ao observador construir suas próprias
definições."
In his own words (my translation):
"The images were digitally manipulated from sexually explicit pictures in magazines, homosexual and heterosexual. It is possible to identify a referent, but we don't know for sure which. In this manner, the object is located in the middle of a path that goes from figuration to abstraction. It is left for the viewer to construct his/her own definitions."
